Tips for Getting Here and Around

Traveling to Slovenia

The closest airport to the venue is Zagreb (Croatia) around 30min away. Next closest, and most central if you plan to visit Slovenia, is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU), located max. 1h30 drive from most tourist destinations.
Other nearby options include Graz Airport (Austria) and Trieste (Italy), both within a 2–3 hour drive.

Slovenia is small and easy to explore! Renting a car is the most convenient option, especially if you plan to travel outside the main cities. Public transport (buses and trains) is reliable for intercity travel, and taxis are available in larger towns.

Tours and transport can be provided by your new extended family upon request and subject to availability.

Slovenia uses the euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, but it’s always a good idea to have some cash on hand.
